Agartala, 7th August 2026 : Extending a helping hand to little Manashree Chowdhury, the Tripura Veterinary Doctors Association (TVDA) and Tripura Government Fisheries Officers Association (TGFOA) have provided financial assistance towards her medical treatment.
According to ARD and Fisheries Minister Sudhangshu Das, representatives of the two associations handed over cheques to Manashree’s mother on Friday. TVDA contributed ₹1.50 lakh, while TGFOA provided ₹70,000.
Thanking both organisations for responding to his appeal, Das appreciated their humanitarian initiative and said their support would provide assistance to a family going through a difficult period.
“The empathy and humanitarian initiative shown by both associations in standing beside a family in distress are truly commendable,” the minister said.
Das also appealed to people to come forward and extend support to Manashree. He urged everyone to join hands in strengthening the spirit of humanity and prayed for the child’s speedy recovery.
