Two AICC leaders appointed as observers to Tripura amid violence against Congress workers

Agartala, 16th July 2024:   All India Congress Committee has formed two members committee to visit Tripura following the recent alleged violence and attacks on Congress workers.

A press release issued by K.C. Venugopal, M.P. General Secretary, of AICC said that Tariq Anwar and  Gaurav Gogoi to visit the state as the AICC has appointed them as Observers.

“Congress President has deputed the following leaders as AICC Observers to Tripura with regard to the recent violence and attacks on Congress party workers and offices by the ruling party after declaration of Panchayat elections in the state”, it reads.
