Agartala, 2nd January 2024 : In a successful operation, the Border Security Force (BSF) apprehended two Bangladeshi nationals, including a 13-year-old minor, in Vaishnabpur Tilabari area, and handed them over to Sabroom police station. The incident came to light based on secret information received by the BSF.

Jewel Dhar, hailing from Chittagong Futia area of Bangladesh, was arrested along with the minor after illegally crossing the India-Bangladesh border through Vaishnabpur Tilabari. The duo’s intended destination was reported to be Kolkata Barasat Yoga Ashram.

Upon their arrest, the BSF discovered an Indian fake Aadhaar card and 3000 Indian rupees in their possession. The authorities suspect that the falsified identity document was likely used to facilitate their illegal entry and movement within India.
