Agartala, 18th April 2025:  In a joint operation conducted yesterday late night  two Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended from Agartala Railway Station for illegally entering Indian territory. The operation was carried out by personnel of Agartala Government Railway Police Station (GRPS), Railway Protection Force (RPF), Border Security Force (BSF), and the Intelligence Department.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Nadia Akhter Mim (19), a resident of Barisal district, and Rupali Akhter (38), from Manikganj district in Bangladesh. Initial interrogation has revealed that the duo entered India illegally and reached Agartala Railway Station with plans to travel to Mumbai via Kolkata.
