The incident unfolded early on Sunday morning, as vigilant officers intercepted two vehicles bearing registration numbers TR-05C-1618 and TR-05F-1797 en route from Dharmanagar to Kailashahar.

The suspicious vehicles were flagged down and thoroughly inspected at the Naka Point, situated in front of the Anandabazar SPO camp.
