Two including police personnel injured in road rage

Agartala: February 24. Two persons including police personnel were seriously injured when both of their bikes collided with each other. The incident took place at Betaga area under in Shantirbazar. According to the details of the incident, there was a head-on collision between their bike bearing number TR 03E 7766 and TR 03E 4533 in Betaga area following which two persons were seriously injured. The injured police person identified as Shankar Shil.

He is a resident of Betaga area. Another person injured in the accident is Tushar Sarkar, a resident of Latuatila area. It is known that Shankar Shil was coming home from Baikhora, on the other hand, Tushar Sarkar was leaving Shantir Bazar for home. On reaching Betaga area, both the bike collided. Firefighters rushed to the spot after receiving information about the accident and brought them to Shantir Bazar District Hospital Trauma Care Center for treatment.

 The doctor on duty there shifted Shankar Shil to GB Hospital seeing his condition as critical. Another injured person is undergoing treatment at the trauma care center. Police rushed to Shantir Bazar district hospital’s trauma care center after receiving information about the accident. Police are investigating. The police of Baikhora police station detained both the bikes.
