Agartala, 15th December 2025: An auto-rickshaw lost control while taking a sharp turn at high speed and overturned on the Melaghar–Sonamura main road near the Botatli Swiss Gate area, leaving at least two people injured.
Among the injured, a woman is reported to be in critical condition. The identities of the victims have not yet been confirmed.
Locals said the driver of the auto-rickshaw fled the scene immediately after the accident. Police are investigating the incident and efforts are underway to trace the absconding driver.
