Agartala, 13th November 2024:    Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sushanta Chowdhury informed today that two oil wagons carrying petrol and diesel have arrived in the state. Minister Chowdhury made this statement after train services were disrupted due to a train derailment at Lumding-Badarpur, causing an acute fuel crisis in the state.

Consequently, the state government imposed restrictions on the sale of fuel. The minister stated that two oil wagons of petrol and diesel have now arrived in the state after a temporary suspension. “We hope that the supply of petrol and diesel will be normalized at all pumps by tomorrow night. Thanks for all the help,” he added.
