Two youth critically injured at Chowmuhani area in Boxanagar

Agartala, 4th May 2024 : In a tragic incident last night, two young men were left seriously injured following a devastating car accident as they were returning home from work. Prompt action from local residents of Chowmuhani area in Boxanagar led to the immediate notification of the fire department, ultimately resulting in the rescue of the victims.

The victims have been identified as Toton Chandra Saha (36) and Suman Das (25) from Kamalnagar in Bishalgarh were engaged in photoshop work at a wedding venue prior to the incident. Riding on a motorcycle bearing registration number TR07A-9734, the duo encountered a head-on collision with a Maruti car while en route home.

Details surrounding the owner of the Maruti car remain undisclosed as authorities continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision.

Upon receiving the distress call, local residents swiftly alerted the fire brigade, prompting a rapid response. Firefighters promptly extricated the injured victims from the wreckage and promptly transported them to the Boxanagar Community Health Centre for urgent medical attention.

However, given the severity of their injuries, medical professionals at the health center deemed it necessary to refer them to GB Hospital for specialized care.
