Agartala, October 16, 2023: In an earnest plea for employment opportunities, scores of job-seeking youth have rallied together to demand the expedited recruitment of candidates who successfully passed the TET-I and TET-II examinations in 2022. This resolute call for action began after their initial effort on October 4, prompting another visit to Shiksha Bhawan to present their concerns to the authorities on Monday.
Regrettably, during their second visit to the office, they were left without the audience of the relevant official. In light of this setback, one of the protest leaders addressed the media, shedding light on the gravity of the situation. According to the leader, a total of 194 individuals have successfully cleared the TET-I examination, and another 165 have triumphed in the TET-II assessment. Despite their qualifications, these hopeful candidates remain in a state of employment limbo, with the passage of time threatening to render their qualifications obsolete.
The youth protesters stressed the urgency of the matter, underscoring the pressing need to draw the attention of the Chief Minister to this issue. They fervently implored for the immediate appointment of all eligible candidates to available positions, as this would not only address the issue of unemployment but also harness the talent and potential of these individuals for the betterment of the community.
