VHAT supports locals of South Ghilatali GP & West Kunjaban ADC village

Agartala, 27th March 2025:  The Voluntary Health Association of Tripura (VHAT) continues to earn the trust of the society through its consistent involvement in various social initiatives. Over the past year, the organization has been actively contributing to the development of rural economy in the Kalyanpur Block area of Khowai district, in collaboration with NABARD.

Through its array of programs aimed at improving livelihoods, VHAT has fostered positive responses across the region. In a recent initiative, VAT distributed ducklings to selected beneficiaries in the South Ghiltali Gram Panchayat and the West Kunjaban ADC Village, aiming to enhance the rural economy.

Reports indicate that similar efforts have previously been undertaken by the organization, including the distribution of piglets and ducklings in other parts of the block. The members of VHAT reaffirmed their commitment to standing by the community and supporting developmental plans tailored to the region’s needs in the future.

Today’s distribution of ducklings has already sparked a positive response among the local residents, further reflecting the organization’s impactful contribution to the community.
