Agartala,, 1st August 2024: Villagers from Naya Para area gathered at the office of the North District Superintendent of Police (SP) to protest the murder of housewife Kajali Deb. The protest saw participation from people of all ages, who marched to the SP’s office to demand justice.
The residents submitted a deputation to SP Bhanupada Chakraborty, urging a thorough investigation into the mysterious death of Kajali Deb. They insisted that those responsible for her death be severely punished. The community, particularly those near Dharmanagar Nayapara Club, expressed their inability to accept such incidents in their area.
Kajali Deb, who was married just last November, was found dead under suspicious circumstances. The villagers believe she was murdered and are seeking answers. SP Chakraborty assured the protesters that the matter is under investigation and promised a proper inquiry into the incident.
