Agartala, January 06, 2023: A meeting was organized near Piyaracherra market in Ranibazar Gram Panchayat area under Kadamtala-Kurti assembly constituency with the initiative of North Tripura District Trinamool Congress on Saturday.
All India Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev, TMC state Secretary Abdul Hashim Talukdar, North Tripura District TMC President Bimal Nath, Kadamtala-Kurti Trinamool Congress Block President Swapan Nath and other leaders were present here.
The meeting was attended by Trinamool Congress workers from remote areas of North Tripura. People of North Tripura participated in this meeting in support of Trinamool Congress. The Trinamool Congress leaders in a message to the public said that in the coming days they will take whatever steps are necessary for the people of the state and extend their helping hand.
Addressing the meeting today, All India Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev said, “I firmly believe that Trinamool Congress workers are working hard. I have come before you on behalf of Trinamool Congress, to seek your support. I am bound to say that before the BJP elections in Tripura in 2018, many promises have been made to people but they have not kept a single one. This BJP is a party of lies.”
“People of Tripura state have given love and blessings to Trinamool Congress, and I say to defeat BJP, people should vote for Trinamool Congress. We want to bring every project of West Bengal to Tripura”, she added.
