Agartala, 18th April 2026: The District Magistrate & Collector of West Tripura, Dr. Vishal Kumar, chaired a periodic review meeting at Bhati Abhoynagar Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) to evaluate the functioning of healthcare services and ongoing initiatives.
During the visit, the District Magistrate reviewed key aspects of the health centre’s operations, including the availability of essential medicines, manpower deployment, maternal and child healthcare services, immunization coverage, sanitation, and overall patient care. He stressed the need for ensuring quality healthcare delivery, timely services, and proper maintenance of records.
Dr. Kumar also interacted with healthcare staff and directed the concerned officials to identify and address any gaps in service delivery. He emphasized strengthening healthcare mechanisms to better serve the public.
The visit highlights the district administration’s continued commitment to improving public healthcare infrastructure and ensuring accessible, efficient, and people-centric health services across West Tripura.
