Agartala, 24th December 2025: A tragic incident occurred near the Subhashnagar rail bridge, where a woman identified as Rekha Debnath Pal died after being run over by a train.
According to local sources, residents noticed the woman lying mutilated on the railway tracks and immediately alerted the authorities. Police and Railway Police rushed to the spot upon receiving the information.
The body was recovered and sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Police have launched an investigation into the incident to ascertain whether it was an accident or involved any other cause.Officials stated that the circumstances surrounding the death will become clear after the post-mortem report is received.
