Agartala, 2nd February 2025: Local women in the Kumarghat Ratiyabari Truck Syndicate area have taken to the streets in protest, blocking the road since Sunday morning over an ongoing water crisis in the region. The protest has led to severe traffic congestion, causing inconvenience to commuters.
The women allege that the area has been grappling with an acute water shortage for the past five days. According to residents, the water supply system frequently breaks down, leaving them in extreme hardship.
