Agartala, 23rd April 2026: The NSS unit of Women’s College, known for conducting year-round social and welfare programs, held a special awareness campaign today addressing health risks during the intense summer heat.
Volunteers distributed informative leaflets to passersby, highlighting common seasonal ailments such as respiratory distress, allergies, stomach infections, jaundice, black fever, and skin rashes. Alongside raising awareness, they also shared preventive measures to help the public safeguard themselves against these conditions.
Speaking on the initiative, the volunteers emphasized that good health is one of the fundamental pillars of human life, and spreading this message across all sections of society was the primary objective of the program.
