Agartala, 8th August 2026 : A one-day brainstorming workshop on the learnings from Project TRIPTI and the implementation framework for the Chief Minister’s Nabadisha Abhijan (CM-NDA) was held today at Pragya Bhavan, Gorkhabasti, Agartala.
The workshop was conducted in the presence of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM), with participation from officials of the State Mission Management Unit (SMMU), concerned District and Block Mission Management Units (DMMUs and BMMUs), and The/Nudge Institute, the technical partner.
The discussions focused on translating key learnings from Project TRIPTI into the design and implementation strategy of CM-NDA. Major areas deliberated upon included the roles of Community-Based Organisations (CBOs), identification and selection of eligible households, livelihood planning, asset transfer, capacity building and monitoring mechanisms.
Based on the experience and learnings of TRIPTI, CM-NDA will be implemented in multiple phases with the objective of progressively covering vulnerable households associated with Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
In the first phase, 4,000 vulnerable SHG households will be covered through 20 Cluster Level Federations (CLFs) across eight blocks in four districts—Dhalai, Khowai, Gomati and South Tripura.
The workshop is expected to help strengthen the implementation framework and ensure a structured, community-centric approach to improving livelihood opportunities for vulnerable SHG households.
