“World Environment Day” celebrated at KVK, West Tripura

Agartala, June 05, 2023: Krishi Vigyan Kendra, West Tripura celebrated “World Environment Day” at its Belbari campus on Monday. Dr. Mandira Chakraborti, in-charge of KVK in West Tripura welcome the guests and gatherings and also highlighted the “Importance of celebration of World Environment Day”.

Debashis Datta, SMS (Agricultural Extension) also talk about importance of tree plantation for save the environment from pollution. 

Taruni Rupini Social worker, Surendra Debbarma, President of Hatai Kothor FPO and more than 60 farmers across the district participated in the programme.

A pledge for LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) was also taken by all the participants and a tree plantation programme also conducted as a part of celebration.

At the end of the programme, fruit tree plants, kharif vegetables seed and water can also distributed among the participants.
