Agartala, 2nd April 2025: The Meteorological Department of Agartala has issued a yellow alert for rain and thunderstorms across all districts of Tripura for April 4, 5, and 6. Along with rainfall, the temperature is expected to drop slightly over the next three days.
According to the Meteorological Department, very light rain was recorded in the northern districts today, while the rest of Tripura experienced dry weather in the last 24 hours. No significant changes were observed in the maximum temperature, which remained above normal.
The forecast also warns of thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds reaching speeds of 40 to 50 kmph in all districts of the state. Authorities have advised residents to take necessary precautions against potential weather hazards.
Citizens are urged to stay updated with official weather bulletins and avoid unnecessary outdoor activities during adverse weather conditions.
