Agartala: July 17. Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress will hold a three-day mass demonstration demanding to solve the unemployment problem in the state.On July 18, 19 and 20, the Pradesh Youth Congress will hold a 72-hour mass sit-in.
Youth Congress president Rakhu Das said that during the long 25 years of Left Front government around 7 lakh youths were unemployed. Then the unemployed of the state relied on BJP’s false promises. But after the formation of the government, the unemployed people of the state understand the BJP is a government of jumlabaz and therefore, the Youth Congress has decided to hold a public protest on 18, 19 and 20 July.
“If the government does not take a positive role to reduce the problem of unemployment, the Youth Congress will launch a larger movement in the coming days”, Das said.
Das further said that they will hold a 72-hours mass sit-in demonstration demanding to fulfil the vacancies of the state government, immediate recruitment of TET teachers, solve the problem of 10,323 teachers.“They also demanded an investigation the by the Chief Justice of High Court in the TSR recruitment. More demands will be raised from the protest”, he said. The protest of the Youth Congress will be held in front of city center. Former Chief Minister of the state Sameer Ranjan Barman will be present in the mass position along with MLA Sudip Roy Barman, Pradesh Congress President Birajit Sinha, former Pradesh Congress President Gopal Roy, All India Congress Secretary Szarita Laitfrang and other leaders will be present.
