Youth died of overdose of drugs

Agartala: November 02. Drugs have claimed a life of another youth today. The body was recovered from the toilet of a house in Kalyanpur Bazar Colony area at seven in the morning. The deceased was identified as Akash Das (20) a resident of Kalyanpur Bazar Colony area. It is known from the local residents and family members that Akash was addicted to drugs for a long time.

However, his family claimed that he was not using drugs at present. But the police recovered drug syringes and bottles along with the dead bodies. He left home on Tuesday night. As he did not return home at night, the family members searched a lot. On Wednesday morning, when neighbors saw her dead body in the toilet, started screaming, people rushed to the area and informed the police. Kalyanpur police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Kalyanpur hospital for post-mortem. Police initially believe the death may have been due to an overdose. The police of Kalyanpur police station started investigating the case after taking the case of unnatural death.
