Agartala, 7th January 2026 :   On his 27th birthday, Bikram Pal, a resident of the Ambassa TRTC area, chose to celebrate in a unique way—by extending support to the underprivileged.

Bikram provided financial assistance to the parents of a four-month-old infant suffering from a congenital heart defect, helping them pursue urgent medical treatment. He also offered aid to another local resident, Rajesh Debbarma.

In addition, Bikram distributed sweets and soaps among sanitation workers across Ambassa, acknowledging their contribution to the community.

For Bikram, such gestures have become a tradition. Every year, he marks his birthday with a social initiative, and this year was no exception. Speaking to reporters, he said, “Everyone should dedicate their birthday to some form of social work.”

He further appealed to the administration to step forward and support the treatment of the infant, stressing that government intervention could secure the child’s future.
