Agartala, September 04, 2022: The Yuva Vikas Kendra (YVK) are always trying to do something unique and historical for the state of Tripura. Since the inception of the organization, along with the aspect of making youth, women and villagers self-reliant, efforts have also been made to give the state a separate identity through social activities in the country as well as the whole world.
In the same sequence, where this year has completed 50 years of Tripura’s Statehood day, Yuva Vikash Kendra are taking different initiatives from the last 2 years to make this day historic. To finalize this series of initiatives, Yuva Vikash Kendra is going to organize an international youth and cultural festival ‘Heritage Fest-2022’ in Agartala from November 20 to 27 next.
A four-member representative team under the leadership of President of Yuva Vikash Kendra Debashis Majumder along with Pinku Das, Panchali Debbarma and Pratima Debbarma has met union Sports and Youth Affairs minister Anurag Singh Thakur at 22, Akbar Road, New Delhi.
On behalf of the delegation, the union minister has been invited to be present as the chief guest in the inaugural ceremony of the ‘Heritage Fest – 2022’ to be held in Agartala on November 20 next. Knowing about this historic initiative of Yuva Vikash Kendra, Union Minister has congratulated the entire team of YVK and assured to be present in the programme. It has been told by the organiser that through this programme, where there will be an exchange of culture of Tripura with the culture of the country and abroad, on the other hand, artisans from every corner of Tripura will be given a chance to meet the buyers.
