Aggressive Opposition stages protest on 1st day of Maha Assembly session

Taking an aggressive posture on issue of reservation for the Marathas, the Opposition on Monday staged a strong protest against the Mahayuti (grand coalition) state government on the steps of Maharashtra Assembly.

The Opposition members staged protests by shouting slogans against the government and accused the government of cheating both the Maratha and OBC communities.

Leaders of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) such as Congress Legislature Group Leader Balasaheb Thorat, Nitin Raut, Amin Patel, Amit Deshmukh, Dheeraj Deshmukh, Jitesh Antapurkar, Bhai Jagtap, Rajesh Rathod, Shiv Sena (UBT) Legislature Group Leader Ajay Chaudhary, Rajan Salvi, Narendra Darade, NCP (Sharad Pawar group) Anil Deshmukh, Sunil Bhusara, Vinod Nikole, participated in the protest.
