Baddi fire accident: 2 more bodies recovered in major fire that broke out in NR Aroma factory

) The police have recovered two more decomposed bodies from the site of the devastating fire that broke out in the NR Aroma factory in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh earlier this month.

The bodies were recovered on Sunday during a search operation in the debris of the fire that had destroyed goods and property valued at crores of rupees in the Jharmajri area of the industrial township of Baddi on February 2.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination at Civil Hospital Nalagarh.

The firefighting team had on February 2 rescued 32 trapped workers, who were admitted to various hospitals.

Four bodies of female factory workers were discovered on February 3 from inside the washrooms of the factory. the victims hadpossibly locked themselves inside the washrooms to save their lives.

Initially, a total of 13 workers were reported missing, out of which four bodies were recovered, while five workers were traced safe.

Four workers had been missing since February 2. The family members of the missing workers were constantly urging the state government to ensure the recovery of the missing members of their families, but the Nalagarh administration and other concerned officials, responsible for launching the search operations, were delaying the operations as the building had turned unsafe.
