The body of a youth was recovered from the Bairia police station area in Bihar’s West Champaran district on Sunday, police said.
Police sources said here that, on the basis of information received from the locals, the body of a youth was recovered from Bathna Sareh.
The deceased has been identified as Bullet Patel (35), a resident of Khalwakhap Tola under the Nautan police station area. Bullet Patel has been shot dead. A huge quantity of foreign liquor filled in a sack has been recovered from the spot.
A Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team has been called for investigation, sources said.
The body has been sent for a postmortem.
The matter is under investigation.
