Darpadalan, the chariot of devi Subhadra and Nandighosh, the chariot of Lord Jagannath which were stranded at Badasankha and Balagandi chhak respectively on Tuesday reached in front of Sri Gundicha temple, their birth place on Wednesday.
With this all the three chariots —Nandighosh, Darpadalan and Taladhwaja are now parked in front of the Gundicha temple.
Taladhwaj chariot of Lord Balabhadra reached the Gundicha temple on Tuesday night after sunset.
Thousands of devotees amidst shouts of Jai Jaganath started pulling the Darpadalan chariot carrying Devi Subhadra and the Nandighosh carrying Lord Jaganath at around 9 AM this morning and reached the destination.
All the three chariots will now be parked at Saradhaballi in front Gundicha temple till they are escorted into the sanctum sanctorum of Gundicha temple on Thursday afternoon.
The devotees will now have the darshan of the presiding deities of sri jagannath temple on their respective chariot for two days, on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The deities will remain on their respective chariots all through Tuesday and Wednesday night. The temple priests will perform all nitees on the chariots till they are escorted into the sanctum sanctorum of Gundicha temple on Thursday.
The deities alongwith Sudarshan will be taken to the Adap Mandap on Goti Pahandi on Thursday evening.
