CM Omar,and Farooq extends Ramadhan greetings to people of J&K

 Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his father Farooq Abdullah extended greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the holy month of Ramadhan on Friday.

Chief Minister Omar and Farooq who is also President of National Conference appealed to the people to pray for the upliftment and prosperity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir during the holy month of Ramadan during the five times prayers.

The holy month of Ramadhan is likely to begin on Saturday subject to the appearance of the moon in Jammu and Kashmir.

The duo also asked the people to pray for the world of human beings for their survival and well-being during the month.

“The almighty bestows his faithful fasting with innumerable bounties and blessings and those servants of Allah who fast in this holy blessed month and recite the Qur’an and do charity and help the needy and in return, they get Allah’s closeness and pleasure”, they said.

They said that this month teaches us to help our destitute, needy, and poor brothers and stated that for the past three decades, many families in the state have broken down and these people are spending their days in a state of destitution, so it becomes our duty to help them during the holy month.

The CM and Farooq appealed to the wealthy people to help the families and become candidates for Allah’s mercy and blessings.
