Kharge expresses gratitude to people of Himachal Pradesh

New Delhi, Dec 8 (UNI) Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Thursday expressed his gratitude to the people of Himachal Pradesh for reposing faith in the party. “Many thanks to the voters of Himachal Pradesh for reposing faith in the Congress party. Thanks to all our workers and office bearers,” said Kharge.

He said that the Congress party is committed to fulfill the 10 promises made to the people of the Himalayan state.Former Congress president and the Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi also took to twitter and thanked the people of the state.He also congratulated all Congress workers and leaders and said,’ Your hard work and dedication really deserves the best wishes for this victory.”

The Congress MP also assured that every promise made to the public by the Congress will be fulfilled at the earliest. On Congress’ performance in Gujarat Assembly polls, they said , “We accept the mandate of the people of Gujarat.”According to the Election Commission data, Congress has crossed the half way mark in Himachal Pradesh. The party has so far won in 39 seats and is leading in one constituency out of the 68 Assembly seats.In Gujarat, Congress which was eyeing to return to power, has so far won 14 seats and is leading in three seats only, the data showed.
