One labourer dies following blast in pvt steel plant

One labourer died and two admitted to hospital with critical injuries following blast in a private steel plant at Kalugaon near Rourkela in Sundergarh district.

Sources said the blast occurred around Wednesday midnight while the workers were sleeping in the workers restroom.

The deceased has been identified as Chinmay Behera .

Though the exact reason of the blast is not yet known it is suspected that the blast occurred due to a leakage in gas pipe.
