Panic grips passengers as two buses collide due to dense fog in Punjab

Panic gripped passengers of UP Roadways bus when it collided with a private sleeper bus due to dense fog at Phillaur in Punjab early on Friday.

The accident occurred on the flyover near Ambedkar Chowk, creating panic among passengers.

According to police reports, the UP roadways bus was enroute from Jalandhar to Ludhiana when it collided with a private sleeper bus on the flyover at Phillaur’s Ambedkar Chowk on the Jalandhar-Ludhiana route.

The impact left the Roadways bus dangling precariously from the high flyover. Fortunately, there were no casualties, though both buses sustained significant damage.

Traffic was disrupted following the accident, but authorities arrived at the scene promptly and restored vehicular movement.
