Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated the new Terminal of Jayprakash Narayan Airport in Patna and also laid the foundation stone of the New Civil Enclave of Bihta Airport.
Modi, on his arrival at Jayprakash Narayan Airport, was welcomed by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, and other important dignitaries, including Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha. Union Ministers Nityanand Rai and Giriraj Singh were also present on the occasion.
Soon after his arrival, the PM inaugurated the new terminal building of Jay Prakash Narayan Airport. He also laid the foundation stone of the new civil enclave of Bihta Airport.
Modi started his roadshow after the inauguration of the new terminal of Patna Airport and the new civil enclave of Bihta Airport. The roadshow will cover the distance from Patna Airport to the state BJP headquarters through Bailey Road.
A large number of people cheered PM Modi with the tricolour during his roadshow, as their expression to welcome him on his successful leadership given to the Armed forces, who carried out operation Sindoor. Operation was carried out to dismantle terror hideouts in Pakistan after the Pahalgam attack by terrorists killing 26 tourists on April 22.
It is the first visit of PM Modi to Bihar after the successful operation Sindoor during which the Armed forces displayed rare valour. After the Pahalgam attack,
PM had issued a warning to terrorists and conspirators from Madhubani during his last visit to Bihar that they would be slapped with punishment beyond their imaginations.
