As India rings in the new year 2025, President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday greeted the people and wished them for good “health and prosperity.”
In a social media post on X, President Murmu said, “Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! May the year 2025 bring joy, harmony and prosperity to all! On this occasion, let us renew our commitment to work together for creating a brighter, more inclusive and sustainable future for India and the world.
Wishing people for success and endless joy.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Happy 2025!
May this year bring everyone new opportunities, success and endless joy. May everybody be blessed with wonderful health and prosperity.”
Other leaders, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and several other chief ministers, also extended their wishes to the people.
