Former Rajya Sabha MP and CPI-M leader P Madhu said on Friday that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi should focus his march in BJP strongholds if he wants to defeat the BJP in the 2024 general electionss .
Addressing the here, he said the BJP’s spread was stiffly opposed wherever regional parties were in power and that only regional parties were striving to liberate the country from the “anti-people BJP regime”.

He said while the BJP had slapped a burden of Rs 1,50,000 crore on people, it was tragic that the Modi regime had provided 22-30 per cent discounts to corporate groups.
