Senior Marxist leader P Shanmugham elected as TN State Secy

Veterantmarxist leader and comrade P Shanmugam was elected

as the Party’s State Secretary Tamil Nau Unit.

He was elected at the party’s GC meeting held at Villupuram on Sunday evening.

Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin greeted him for his appointment as the

new State Secretary of CPI(M).

He also recalled his contribution for his fight to protect the rights of the farers and

the oppressed classes.

Mr Shanmugham replaces incumber K Balakrishnan, whose tenured ended.
