) Serilingampally BRS MLA Arkapudi Gandhi joined the Congress party in the presence of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills on Saturday.
The party welcomed Gandhi by presenting him with the Congress scarf.
Along with Gandhi, several corporators also joined the Congress. Miyapur corporator Uppalapathi Srikanth, Chandanagar corporator Manjula, and Serilingampally corporator Ragam Nagender Yadav were among those who joined the party.
So far, nine BRS MLAs have joined the Congress, including Arkapudi Gandhi, Tellam Venkatarao, Kale Yadayah, Danam Nagender, Pocharam Srinivas, Sanjay, Kadiam Srihari, Bandla Krishnamohan Reddy, and Prakash Gowd. All were presented with the Congress scarf.
