Altogether 31 CBI officers have been awarded medals for distinguished and meritorious services to mark India’s 76th Republic Day.
” These officers and officials of the Central Bureau of Investigation
(CBI) have been awarded the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished
Service and Police Medal for Meritorious Service by
the President of India on the occasion of Republic Day, 2025,” a CBI
statement said.
Among others the President’s Police Medals for Distinguished Service
have been awarded to 6 officers/officials while Police Medals for
Meritorious Service have been awarded to 25 other officers &
officials.
The President’s POLICE medal winners among others Datla Sreenivasa
Varma, IPS, Joint Director (North East), Guwahati, Ghanshyam Upadhyay,
IPS, Joint Director (EO Zone), CBI, New Delhi, Tejpal Singh,
Assistant Inspector General, CBI, Policy Division, New Delhi, Naresh
Kumar, DSP, CBI (Head Office), New Delhi, Bhani Singh Rathore, Sub
Inspector, CBI, ACB, Jaipur and Aikodan Balakrishnan, Assistant Sub
Inspector, CBI, ACB, Goa.
