Two burnt alive as container trucks collide in Telangana

Two persons were burnt alive when two container trucks caught fire after head-on collision on the National Highway in Narsingi village in Medak district on Friday.

On receiving information, one fire tender rushed to the spot and doused the flames.

The cabin of the one container truck was completely gutted in the fire and it was enroute to Nizamabad from here, police said.

The deceased have been identified as Naraju and Basavaru, both residents of Karnataka.

A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway, police added.
