Ferozepur, Aug 21 (UNI) In an intelligence-led operation against trans-border drug trafficking networks, the Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police, in a joint operation, have seized approximately 30kg of heroin and arrested two Pakistani nationals from village Gatti Matar in Ferozpur district.
DGP Gaurav Yadav said on Monday that one Pakistani national was injured in an exchange of fire with the BSF.
The international market value of heroin is Rs 150 crore.
Police said the FIR is registered at SSOC Fazilka. Investigations are ongoing to establish backward and forward linkages.
