Addressing the Convocation of the Mizoram University, the Vice President commended the students for reaping the rewards of their hard work.

He emphasized the privileged position of today’s youth in witnessing India’s rapid growth and encouraged them to seize the opportunities of an entrepreneurial landscape fostered by a supportive ecosystem.

Dhankhar planted the sapling of the state tree, Media Ferrea, underscoring a commitment to nurturing both education and environmental stewardship.

A notable highlight of the convocation was the increasing representation of women among the high achievers, a testament to the evolving landscape of education and empowerment.

As many as 1104 students were present to receive their degrees and 6876 students were honoured in absentia.

The Convocation of Mizoram University stands not only as a celebration of academic excellence but also as a testament to the enduring spirit of learning and progress in the region.
