West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has congratulated Team India after Rohit Sharma’s squad defeated New Zealand in the ICC Champions Trophy final in Dubai on Sunday night.
” Congratulations to our India Team for a spectacular victory in the ICC Champions Trophy tournament 2025. In a breathtaking final match, our boys showed power and resilience of the highest order, kept consistency, and we won the trophy with prowess,” she said in a message.
” An evening of tremendous pride for Indians,” she concluded.
Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar also congratulated the India cricket team and said ” India get their hands on a third Champions Trophy title. “.
Leader of opposition Suvendu Adhikari said ” What a great Victory! What a great achievement by our Indian men’s Cricket Team !: India have won the Champions Trophy hosted by Pakistan.”
He said, ” India eliminated Pakistan and got the final match shifted
