Agartala Aug 04: This year capital city’s Flowers Club is all set for a big budget durga puja. The theme for this year’s pandal is famous “Chittorgarh Fort” of Rajasthan that was depicted in “Padmavat” movie.Durga Puja had a lot of restrictions for past two years because of coronavirus led pandemic situation. No club performed in grandeur. Puja was common in most of the clubs.
Naturally, this year, the famous Clubs of the capital are preparing to perform Puja in a grand manner as the present situation of Covid is not alarming compared to previous years. Among them is Math Choumuhani’s Flowers Club. This year the puja budget of the club is 40 lakh rupees. The president of the puja committee detailed this year’s puja preparations amid press conference at the club room on Thursday. Pandal and idol will be made by artists from Nabadwip while the work of lighting will be done by state based artists.
Besides various sports competitions and events will be organized with people from Mahalaya in all parts of the area also the club has taken up a weeklong social activities this year.
