8 killed in China road accident

 Eight people were killed in a road accident in northwest China’s Gansu Province on Friday morning, local authorities said.

The accident happened at about 8 a.m. in Minqin County of Wuwei City, where a minibus and a pickup truck collided, leaving eight dead and three injured. The injured were rushed to a local hospital.

Cause of the accident is being investigated.
