Musk believes unrest in UK inevitably escalates into civil war

Date:

) US billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk believes mass unrest in the United Kingdom could escalate into civil war.

Protests against the influx of illegal migrants started on Saturday in several cities across the United Kingdom following a stabbing attack in Southport, England, in which 3 children had been killed. The Times reported that at least 35 protests were expected over the weekend.

“Civil war is inevitable,” Musk said on X, commenting on a video from protests in British cities.

On July 29, three young girls were killed and several others seriously injured after a knife attack on a children’s dance club in Southport. This sparked mass protests and clashes with police amid unconfirmed reports that the knifeman was a refugee.

In London, over 100 demonstrators were arrested for violent disorder, assault and breach of protest conditions. Some of them suffered minor injuries. UK law enforcement agencies accused the far-right English Defence League (EDL) of fueling the protests, while some of the country’s media reported that Russia had been behind the riots. The Russian embassy in London strongly rejected that allegation.
