US President Joe Biden said he is struck by the way that he and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are able to find new areas of cooperation each time they hold talks.
After holding bilateral talks with PM Modi at his personal residence in Greenville, Wilmington, in Delaware, President Biden said in a post on X that the US’ partnership with India is stronger and more dynamic than ever.
“The United States’ partnership with India is stronger, closer, and more dynamic than any time in history.
“Prime Minister Modi, each time we sit down, I’m struck by our ability to find new areas of cooperation. Today was no different.”
Earlier, the two leaders exchanged a warm hug and handshake as President Biden welcomed PM Modi to his house for the talks.
While PM Modi was accompanied by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and India’s Ambassador and former FS Vinay Mohan Kwatra, the US President was accompanied by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, NSA Jake Sullivan and the US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti.
