Agartala, 22nd September 2024: Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu inaugurated the 19th convocation ceremony at ICFAI University on Saturday, emphasizing the importance of education in building a developed India. “By implementing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream and plan to build a developed India, the country will become an unrivaled power in the world in the field of education,” he stated.
Governor Nallu highlighted the transformative power of education, noting, “Education is the most powerful medium to build the lives of students. Students will not only build their lives through increasing knowledge and excellence, but they should also take a role in the progress and welfare of the country.” He praised ICFAI University for its significant contributions to higher education.
Expressing optimism about the future, Governor Nallu said, “I hope ICFAI University will make an outstanding contribution to the educational development of the country, including the North Eastern region.” He urged the graduating students to strive for the welfare of the nation.
The convocation ceremony saw the presence of notable dignitaries, including ICFAI University Chancellor Prof. Dr. Tirupati Rao, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Biplap Halder, All India Council of Technical Education Chairman Prof. Dr. TG Seetharam, and University Registrar Dr. Ranganath. Certificates were awarded to 1,659 graduates on this occasion.
