Agartala, 4th July 2025: The Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress (TPYC) today submitted a memorandum to the Director of Health Services, demanding an extension of the online application deadline for several technical posts due to persistent server issues that have hindered the submission process.
In a letter addressed to the health department, TPYC President Neel Kamal Saha highlighted that thousands of candidates aspiring for positions such as lab technicians, radiology and imaging technologists, and optometrists had been unable to complete their applications owing to technical malfunctions on the government recruitment portal.
According to TPYC, while over 20,000 candidates have already attempted to register, many were thwarted by repeated server failures, an issue acknowledged by the department in an official notification.
“To ensure equal opportunity for all aspirants, we urge the department to facilitate an offline application process and to extend the submission timeline,” the deputation read. The organization further recommended upgrading the digital infrastructure to prevent similar disruptions in future recruitment drives.
The youth wing emphasized the urgency of timely intervention, noting that technical inefficiencies should not undermine aspirants’ chances in government employment drives.
