Ex-BJP Booth president joins TMP alongside 11 voters at Charilam

Agartala, 23^rd August 2025:   Former BJP booth president Dipen Debbarma today formally joined the Tipra Motha party along with 11 voters from two families. The joining ceremony was held at the Tipra Motha party office near Bishramganj Mini Stadium within the Charilam assembly constituency.

Debbarma, who previously led Booth No. 44, the final booth under the Charilam constituency was welcomed into the party by Charilam Block President Buddha Debbarma. Leaders from the Tipra Motha Women’s Federation including Shyamali Debbarma and Dipali Debbarma, who ceremoniously handed over the party flag to the new members.

During the event, the newly inducted members pledged their support to Tipra Motha and committed to working for the party in the upcoming ADC elections scheduled for the 26th.
