Agartala, 29th August 2025: In a bid to bridge the gap between government services and rural citizens, Cooperative Minister Sukla Charan Noatia inaugurated a newly constructed two-storey office of the Assistant Registrar of Cooperatives near the Karbook market today. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was part of a celebratory event held at the Karbook Block Multipurpose Centre.
The inauguration was attended by local MLA Sanjoy Manik Tripura, BAC Chairman Pranab Tripura, social activist Asim Tripura, RCS Dasharath Debbarma and Cooperative Department Secretary Tapas Roy, among others.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Noatia emphasized the vital role of the Cooperative Department in driving socio-economic progress. He urged residents to utilize the new office to access services aimed at improving financial conditions under both state and central schemes. He noted that the facility would eliminate the need to travel to Udaipur for cooperative-related services, offering significant relief to Karbook residents.
